Are you a candidate for dentures?

Candidates for dentures include anyone with missing or failing teeth. Complete dentures can replace the full arch of teeth (top, bottom, or both), or we can accommodate the remaining healthy teeth with a partial denture. Most types can also be supported with dental implants, but only an examination with a dentist can determine which denture solution is best for you!

Dentures improve chewing ability, speech, and provide support for facial muscles. Dentures can also greatly enhance your facial appearance and smile, giving you a boost in confidence and self-esteem.

Denture Services

Complete Dentures

Conventional and immediate complete dentures

Full dentures are for people without any remaining healthy teeth. Traditional dentures rest on top of the gum line, and they stay in place with natural suction or the help of an adhesive.

The adhesive will prevent the denture from slipping or moving, increasing your overall confidence and allowing you to do all the things you can do with natural teeth. The denture adhesive is applied and removed daily.

Partial Dentures

Fixed and removable partial dentures

Partial Dentures or removable bridges are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw. Partial dentures are a few replacement teeth designed to fit between those remaining natural teeth, much like a puzzle piece.

The replacement teeth are attached to a pink gum-colored plastic base, which is anchored to the existing remaining teeth by the help of a little hidden metallic clasp so that the partial dentures hold in place in the mouth.

Implant Dentures

Implant-supported dentures (Permanent dentures)

As an alternative to wearing a full/complete denture, multiple implants can be placed across the jawbone to provide support for a fixed bridge. This procedure is similar to those described for single or multiple implants but requires careful diagnosis, planning and coordination before treatment begins. This attention to detail will ensure that an appropriate number of implants can safely be placed in positions that will allow The Dental Suite to fabricate a bridge which will meet your needs and expectations.

The number of implants necessary for a full-arch fixed bridge varies depending on your particular anatomy. The best way to know if you’re a candidate for implant dentures is to call (415) 463-7577 and schedule your free dentures consultation today.

Dentures Repairs

We repair broken dentures and reline ill-fitting dentures.

To maintain a proper fit over time, it may be necessary to adjust or possibly remake your dentures. If your dentures just don’t fit as tight as they used to, you could be in need of a re-fitting, and we’d be happy to meet with you to discuss this during your free consultation.

“…allowed my experience to be less of fear and one of true compassion.”

“I had a complex dental issue but my fear coupled with dental anxiety made it easy for me to not address the issue until pain set in and I had no choice. A friend referred me to Compassionate Dental Care where I met an amazing group of professionals who allowed my experience to be less of fear and one of true compassion. The doctor performed the necessary procedures to correct my dental issue but made sure my comfort level was a priority as he kept me informed throughout the procedure and made sure I was not in pain or discomfort. I now have a new dental practice and in deep appreciation for how they cared for me. Those who understand such dental anxiety, I am a true case of how it was overcome through the care and compassion of this dental practice. Thank you again and kudos to all of you😊”

“This group is wonderful.”

“I’ve always dreaded and put off trips to the dentist. Not anymore. This group is wonderful. Everyone there is great. They understand that many of us are dental chickens. In my experience, it’s very rare to find a doctor or dentist who comes across as someone you can identify with. To a person, everyone in this practice is very cognizant of our fears and they all do their best to alleviate them. Not to mention you can tell they’re all very nice people. If you have a question or concern, just ask. They’ll explain everything to you, and it’s never condescending. I was faced with some pretty major oral surgery and I went to a few places before choosing Compassionate Dental Care.”
